Registration form for the Beast of the East showcase
The Beast of the East Baseball Showcase is an excellent opportunity for players to show off their talents to college coaches and professional scouts. The showcase precedes the four-day “Beast of the East” baseball tournament. It consists of three sessions, run one at a time, with up to 125 participants in each session. Participants are timed in the 40 and 60 yard dash, evaluated for arm speed and pop time, and given a rating by a professional scout of their play at each position. Pitchers are evaluated throwing against a radar gun. They do not throw to any batters. The showcase enables scouts to see each player's strengths at the positions the player chooses.
Here is a reply from a parent/coach:
"I just wanted to drop you a brief note to echo the sentiments of our entire Howard County Raider 15/16 team when we say how much we enjoyed the recent showcase event. This was the first event of its kind for most of our young men and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We found the comments of your staff and guests on the real world desires of coaches and scouts to be particularly enlightening. I know our boys took that to heart.
Thanks again for a very well run session. We look forward to attending the showcase and tournament again next year.
